Lufthansa's MySkyStatus Takes Off
Attention, Lufthansa passengers: You can now keep Facebook friends and Twitter followers updated on your travels by using the airline’s new MySkyStatus service, which sends status updates to the social-networking services while travelers are in-flight, Inside Facebook reported.
The updates include altitude, location, departure time and arrival time, according to Inside Facebook. The service works with other airlines, as well, with Lufthansa gaining the benefit of free advertising.
