King has announced the release of its popular Facebook game Papa Pear Saga on iOS and Android devices. The game includes eight different chapters and 120 levels at launch, each challenging players to shoot Papa Pear shots into barrels at the bottom of the screen while hitting and/or avoiding different objects on the screen.
The mobile version of Papa Pear Saga syncs progress to Facebook, allowing players to pick up where they left off on iOS or Android, only to head back to Facebook later and do the same.
“Papa Pear Saga has been phenomenally successful on Facebook where it is currently played by nearly 15 million people each month,” says Tommy Palm, Games Guru at King, in a company statement.
“It’s a game that’s instantly playable and, like everything we do, has been designed to bring a smile to people’s faces. Candy Crush Saga may continue to be one of the most successful games on mobile platforms, however we’re keen to offer our players even more ways to have fun on their mobiles and we can’t wait to see the reaction to Papa Pear Saga.”
Papa Pear Saga currently has over 14 million monthly active players on Facebook and almost 2.5 million daily active players, according to our app tracking service AppData. The game is available tool play for free on Facebook, and to download for free on iOS and Android devices.
