kids sayThe venerable radio and TV personality Art Linkletter was best-known for his book-turned-TV-show “Kids Say the Darndest Things.” Because they really do.

If you are not fortunate to enjoy life with a “mini-me” of your own, you really are missing out. Your day will come…and when it does, you’ll realize there are few things better than hearing a child think out loud.

Children might even make you re-examine your politics: the Ashland Times-Gazette of north central Ohio recently shared the pontifications of Mr. Ty Wick of 5th grade fame (with the help of a sturdy paywall).

Young Master Wick was one child of several who the paper asked, “What would you do if you were president of the United States?” His answer should serve as a case study for political science departments across this country.
