'I Love NY' Invites Same-Sex Couples to Get Married Across the State
With same-sex wedding ceremonies to begin on July 24, ILoveNY.com, has launched the “Save the Date” campaign, promoting packages for destinations such as NYC and Niagara Falls. The campaign follows one launched by NYC & Co. a few weeks ago, which focused specifically on the city’s wedding offerings.
From the looks of it, there’s no promotion necessary. So many people would like to get married on that first day, the city has set up a lottery to choose 764 same-sex and opposite-sex couples to get married at NYC Clerk’s Offices on that day.
