Here’s How to Add Stickers to Your Twitter Photos

Follow this guide to add stickers to your Twitter pictures

Twitter launched stickers on its platform in 2016, allowing mobile users to customize their photos before sharing them in tweets.

Stickers are available in a number of categories, like “Accessories” and “Words and Phrases,” and new stickers are often released to celebrate special events and occasions, such as the recent Australian Open tennis tournament.

If you’ve yet to try stickers yourself, here’s a guide to help you get started.

Step 1: In the Twitter mobile application, tap the new tweet button in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the camera icon to add a picture to your tweet. You can take a new picture within the app, or import one from your camera roll.

Step 3: Tap the smiling face button in the bottom right corner of the photo you’ve selected. This will load the stickers menu.

Step 4: Select a sticker from the available categories. You can change categories by tapping on the buttons along the bottom of the screen. Note: If branded or other limited-time stickers are currently available, they will be at the top of the “Featured” tab.

Step 5: Resize, rotate and/or move the sticker to fit your photo. Stickers can be resized and rotated using pinch-to-zoom gestures. To move a sticker, simply drag it around the screen.

Step 6 (optional): To add another sticker to the picture, tap the smiling face button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 7: When you’re satisfied with the layout of your sticker(s), tap “Save” in the top-right corner of the screen. This will save your picture and take you back to the tweet composition screen.

Step 8: Tweet! Or, if you’d like to edit your photo again, tap the smiling face button to return to the stickers menu.
