CycleCast has announced the release of its cycling fitness app, which offers audio-guided indoor cycling classes on iPhone 5 and up. The app was designed for cycling enthusiasts as well as newcomers, and offers classes (audio tracks) of multiple lengths to fit users’ schedules.
With CycleCast, users can choose from 36 workouts, broken into 20, 45 or 60-minute classes. Each class combines motivational coaching from experienced instructors with curated playlists of popular music.
The app allows users to input their personal stats for things like height and weight (among others), or pull in their health stats from Apple Health. The app helps users set up their bike’s seat position, handlebar height and more before they begin.
While users receive a free month of classes upon first downloading CycleCast, unlimited access to classes is available via two paid subscription options: $9.99 per month or $89.99 per year.
In a statement, Doug Lotz, founder of CycleCast, commented:
I think there are a lot of people who love the fun and intensity of indoor cycling, but struggle to make it to a class. Finding the time to make it to a studio or the money to pay for good classes can be a challenge. Also, many people don’t live near a studio or find themselves on the road a lot and unable to get to a regular class. CycleCast provides the essential elements of a great indoor cycling class —motivating music and instruction—whenever and wherever you need them.
CycleCast is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store.
