APCO Working on ‘Image Campaign’ For Big Banks

The board of the Financial Services Roundtable, which represents the 150 largest banks and insurance companies in the U.S., is launching a public image campaign, Bloomberg reports.

Public affairs powerhouse APCO is leading the push from the PR front, working with polling company Luntz Maslansky Strategic Research and Omnicom-owned ad agency DDB.

“The financial services industry is dedicated to earning back the trust of the American people, and is engaging in a comprehensive effort to communicate directly with them. Past experience in successful reputation enhancement campaigns is valued,” the Roundtable said in its RFP, according to Bloomberg.
