One thing that I have found frustrating with the Android Market is that it is not always possible to determine what has changed when an app is updated. Some developers include an overview of what is new with each update, but many of them do not. Google has taken a step towards addressing this issue by adding a Recent Changes section to the application description in the market. The screen shot to the left shows the recent changes for the Facebook app. Developers will be able to enter what has changed when they check in each version to the market. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that developers are required to enter the change information when they submit an update to the market, but I hope that the majority of developers provide it.
