Amazon Web Services announced the release of Amazon Chime, an online meetings application for businesses. The app allows users to participate in online meetings, video conferences, voice calls and text chats, as well as share files with other users.
The Amazon Chime app is free to download, and it allows users to make one-to-one video and voice calls, as well as chat with others, without a subscription. The rest of the app’s features are locked behind two subscription tiers, which charge subscribers a flat rate per user, per month, with no minimum fees.
Specifically, the Plus tier includes everything from the free version of the app, and it adds the ability for users to share their screens during meetings.
