The final hours of our Tax day have arrived, and on this patriotic day of paying the government for their hard work I went hunting for some unique Tumblr tax sites
My first pick is Turbo Tax Hell. The Tumblr site posts some rather staggering questions that tax payers ask the popular Turbo Tax’s help forum. I couldn’t help but laugh at “Is loss value of Circuit City Gift Card deductable?” You may discover some questions painfully incredible about heartrending questions about failed adoptions and death of a son. Despite the serious questions, majority of them seem laughable.
Tax Preparation Business is my second choice because this is an informative Tumblr web site with links to online tax preparation sites. If you feel confident that the information you entered is valid, then you will save money by avoiding the high-cost of a professional preparing your taxes. The Tumblr site is also helpful if you have waited until today to prepare your taxes.
The Woods and the Concrete Jungle tells it like it is if you want to feel better about paying your taxes (I mean that in a caustic way), you can visit this site and grumble. The proverbial argument “If only the rich people paid more taxes, the country could get out of this hole” is addressed at this Tumblr blog with blasts of radio sound bites. Government “oversight” is a big topic.
the find: Stuff You’re Gonna Want to Find is a rather fun site offering places you can go to get freebies on Tax Day and hopefully soften the blow of paying your taxes. The helpful Tumblr site lists quite a few restaurant chains; it’s worth a look.
Finally, Android Superstar did it right with The Beatles “Taxman”. The Beatles song may seem trite; but, you know, John, Paul, George and Ringo have a point. Tax Day is the perfect day to listen the classic.
