Rum brand defiant after exploding crocodile

Exploding-croc

Viewers who are sick and tired of a certain activist group's complaints about the mistreatment of animals in advertising will love these two ads for Australia's Bundaberg Rum. In the first one, a golfer is unable to take advantage of his "favorable lie" on the green because of an encroaching crocodile—but he soon takes care of the problem with explosives and some encouragement from Bundaberg's late-1800s-era founders. But the real winner is the subsequent spot, posted below the first, in which one of the Bundaberg dandies apologies for the croc abuse—though not really. Dodge's invisible monkey would be proud. Expertly made by Leo Burnett Sydney, which is now on PETA's shit list.
