A family in Los Angeles appalled their neighbors by renting out the front of their house as billboard space to marketing company Brainiacs From Mars, which is paying close to $2,000 a month for the space. BFM head honcho Romeo Mendoza has said that, residential zoning laws be damned, he wants to do the same thing to 1,000 homes across the U.S. In fact, a company called Adzookie has been doing this since early last year—and coincidentally, similar ideas are hatching in Thailand.
