As of August, the folks at Papa John’s Pizza will have one more thing in common with aliens. They will be carving a giant crop circle into the wheat fields near Denver International Airport. It will look like a pizza, and is meant to promote the chain’s whole-grain crusts, made with Colorado wheat. The specialty crop circle, designed by artist John Stan Herd, will take an estimated 600 hours to prepare and will be in “full color, with mulch, cut corn and alfalfa bales for toppings.”
