We’re playing a bit of catch-up here in pointing you to this Nike Plus spot featuring Maria Sharapova challenging LeBron James to an athletic endurance challenge—it’s a New Year’s resolution thing. (Sharapova promises to run further than James in January.) Nike Plus, in case you’ve been spending too much time on the couch, is the Nike + iPod joint branded thing-a-ma-hoo that uses iPod technology to keep track of how far and fast you’re running and promises you jammin’ tunes to do it with. Since Sharapova isn’t much of an actress, some other commercials in the resolution-themed campaign are more enjoyable, such as this one wherein a woman promises that she’ll bob for lobsters for not living up to the resolution to run 20 miles a week.
