The Muppets haven't stopped with the parody trailers. Since we blogged about Green With Envy, they released another, The Fuzzy Pack. But the best one just came out yesterday. It starts out as a Green Lantern parody, but in the middle we get, "Wait, wait, wait, stop. Is this another Muppet trailer parody? Why don't we just show a real trailer. I mean, what are we hiding? Is the movie in Swedish or something?" Proving they're listening to all the WTF reactions, including ours, to their patent unwillingness to tell us what the H the movie is about. They're almost saying, "Look, it's a movie about Muppets. You don't give two shits about the plot, and we didn't spend much time on it, either. You're going to see it no matter what. There's Muppets." It's all true. And I love that they're paying attention and being timely and all. But the Muppets are timeless. They don't need to leech off Green Lantern. They're cool without superpowers, the Rat Pack, or lame-ass romantic comedies. OK, I know that all that doesn't matter, and all the Muppenatics will watch the movie no matter what. You win this round, Muppets. But don't think I'm done heckling you from the balcony.
