Draftfcb Interns Break Through With Jamaica Wallscapes in NYC

Greenhouse newbies score big

At some agencies, interns get thrown in the dungeon for getting the coffee orders wrong. Not so at Draftfcb in New York, where a couple of interns from the Miami Ad School are seeing their idea for Jamaica tourism wallscapes come to life around the city. Kelly Saucier and Pablo Vizcaino, interns in the school's Greenhouse program, conceived of out-of-home ads that would look like giant holes punched in the sides of the buildings they hang on—to reveal the paradise of Jamaica inside. Impressed by the idea, Draftfcb's veteran creatives including Gary Resch, Roald van Wyk, Rodrigo Burdman and Jackie Anzaldi helped the interns produce the campaign, which is now visible all around town. A true collaboration between interns and veterans—a fairly rare occurrence. See a gallery of the work by clicking on the image below.
