Iraq veterans and their families are front and center in a new $15 million pro-war ad campaign from a group called Freedom’s Watch, comprised mostly of ex-Bush administration officials. The spot above features John Kriesel, who lost both legs in Iraq but still wants the U.S. to stay the course. The spot is heavy, but the campaign would be more convincing if Ari Fleischer, its spokesman, had bothered to learn Kriesel’s name before going on Hardball.
