"We believe in putting hot models in our commercials. Because ugly ones don't sell burgers." Brand manifestos/anthems are usually kind of annoying—unless they're comically and stupidly honest, as in this ode-to-burgers commercial from David&Goliath, titled "Just the Way It Is at Carl's Jr." The spot is stupid from top to (scantily clad) bottom, but amusingly so. The celebrity jet-ski tandem of Olivia Munn and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is also a nice touch. Carl's Jr. ads used to just be trashy, but they're actually getting funny-trashy.
