Alfred Dunhill documents the Nippon Rally

Luxury good maker Alfred Dunhill is hardly the first brand to use its Facebook page to create ads rather than just showcase them, but its digital flipbook for last week's Nippon Rally, a vintage-car race in Japan, is a neat idea. Clicking through the brand's "Rally Nippon x Alfred Dunhill" album animates a sequence of 200 photographs. And while the viewing experience is extremely user-dependent—i.e., slow clickers probably won't get much out of it, and page-load hiccups occasionally ruin the effect—it's more thoughtful than just uploading a video and calling it a day.
