While not on the level of John Oxendine's ox-vs.-rat spot or Carly Fiorina's demon-sheep spot, this new campaign ad from Ben Quayle (son of former vice president Dan) is pretty over the top. Quayle, 33, who's running as a Republican in Arizona's 3rd Congressional district, opens with the blunt assertion that "Barack Obama is the worst president in history," no doubt offending Warren G. Harding scholars everywhere. Then Quayle gets really ornery, suggesting that "someone needs to go to Washington and knock the hell out of the place."
