Wife-standing-on-penis ad bothers Australia
The most-complained-about Australian ad of the year? It's this erectile-dysfunction spot from the Advanced Medical Institute, showing a wife using her husband's erection as a step stool to get something out of the cupboard. The ad was "screened on high rotation during the M-rated noon to 3 p.m. time slot in talk shows and during midday movies," according to a local report. So, no wonder it got 220 complaints. AMI is no stranger to controversy. On the contrary—it thrives on it.
