WBZ storms the Boston Marathon. At 11.

Inspiration meets innovation at Brandweek, the ultimate marketing experience. Join industry luminaries, rising talent and strategic experts in Phoenix, Arizona this September 23–26 to assess challenges, develop solutions and create new pathways for growth. Register early to save.

A street-marketing push by CBS affiliate WBZ-TV for its wire-to-wire coverage of the Boston Marathon next Monday will include bar coasters, race-course signage, teams hired to cheer on the runners and a choir stationed at “Heartbreak Hill,” the steep rise located at the 20.5-mile marker in Newton, Mass. Maybe Suni Williams will tune in via satellite, lest she miss out on those professional cheers and the kind of boost one can only get from a choral rendition of “Eye of the Tiger.”
