U.K. dessert spokeskid convicted of murder

Thomas-connor

Thomas Connor, whose smiling face adorned the packaging of Angel Delight desserts when he was a kid, is now facing a life sentence for murder. In the U.K., this is apparently like hearing that the Gerber baby kept dead kids in his crawlspace as an adult. Connor, now 20, was convicted of beating a man to death in a cocaine fit last July. In part, he blames his troubles on being bullied as a child because of his advertising work. Angel Delight, by the way, is a powder that, when stirred into milk, becomes a sort of instant mousse. Wallace and Gromit have done ads for this stuff, too, so here's hoping Nick Park doesn't start stabbing people in bus stations or something.
