Here’s a graduation message for you, and from Steve Jobs, no less: Dropping out of school may be the key to success. It worked for him, the Apple bigwig told those gathered Sunday at the Stanford University commencement. Dropping out of Reed College in Portland, Ore., after eight months forced Jobs to be resourceful, he told the crowd. In what’s become known as the “doom and gloom” speech, Jobs also recounted how being diagnosed with cancer changed his perspective on life.
