Spike Jonze, Absolut shoot robot love story

Hey, a date film with robots—and we're not talking about Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston! Spike Jonze and Absolut have collaborated on I'm Here, a 30-minute movie that premieres today at the Sundance Film Festival. Jonze says Absolut "didn't give me any requirements to make a movie that had anything to do with vodka. ... I got to make my first love story. It's about the relationship between two robots living in Los Angeles." Everyone living in a L.A. is a robot to some degree, and judging from the clip, these star-crossed cyborgs turn in predictably mechanical performances. Can Svedka's robo-porn epic be far behind?
