In odd celebrity-endorsement news, Robin Williams appears in a couple of ads for Nintendo's remake of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D video game. Even odder: Williams is apparently such a big fan of the Zelda franchise that he named his daughter after it. She also appears in the spots. That must have been a fun adolescence. The pair provide a much different atmosphere than what we usually get from video-game marketing, but it goes a little too far into schmaltzy, Disney-musical territory for me.
