Gap introduced a new logo yesterday, ditching its well-known white text on a blue square for simple black Helvetica text and a smaller blue square that intersects with the "p." Long story short, it seems the new logo makes most design people want to barf. Over at the Brand New blog, more than 2,000 people think it sucks, while just 30 think it's great. Possibly making matters worse, the new logo has opened its own account on Twitter, where it mostly seems to be insulting people.
