There’s something intriguing about the brand preferences of bears when it comes to beer. You may remember last summer, when a black bear in Washington’s Baker Lake Resort polished off 36 cans of Rainier, leaving a full case of Busch untouched. (Rainier’s agency, Cole & Weber/Red Cell, made hay with the news, holding an online contest to name the bear—they eventually called him Brewtus—and creating a TV spot re-enacting the scene with a guy in a bear costume.)
