LG Vacuum Cleaner Great at Sucking Up Bikini-Model Fat Kompressor ad is an odd one

In this strange commercial from Australia, an LG Kompressor vacuum is used to pull an ultra-plus-size woman's body impossibly taut so she looks ultra slim in a bikini. Is the concept playfully subversive or just in poor taste? Love it or hate it, there's no denying that it sucks. Ha ha! The clip's gotten more than 1 million YouTube views in a week, and received plenty of play in the blogosphere, so the client is probably taking the rising tide of criticism in stride. Judging by the way these things often play out, perhaps LG will even issue an "apology" to suck in as much coverage and as many eyeballs as possible. By ad agency George Patterson Y&R in Sydney.
