Legal admits it can't compete with mer-folk

Legal fish head

DeVito/Verdi plumbs the depths, as it were, in this rather unappetizing campaign for New England's venerable Legal Sea Foods chain. If this were any other client, I'd assume the work was spec or some kind of joke. Alas, this is Legal, with a history of silly, oddball and crappy advertising, so it's the real deal. "To get fresher fish you would have to evolve" is the tagline in print that shows human-fish hybrids like gill-men, fin-heads and a chick with webbed fingers. If these folks ate at Legal, they'd be feasting on family! Check out all three print ads after the jump.
