Jack Black in Orange's fake 'Gulliver' trailer
I've been wanting to see Jack Black turned into a giant puppet for a couple of years now, and this U.K. cinema spot for Orange, by Fallon London, has granted my wish. It would have been nice if they'd toned down the heavy-handed execution, though. I don't need an entire minute of Jack reminding me what the ad's concept is (guy in ad doesn't want to be there), especially when his misunderstanding of Gulliver's Travels—the film version of which will indeed feature Black in the title role—is much funnier. Still, if Orange wants to recycle him berating the sign spinner in a future spot, they have my blessing.
