Infamous Boston mobster Whitey Bulger was arrested in California on Wednesday after a 16-year manhunt—just days after the FBI began airing a new PSA about the case aimed at daytime viewers who might recognize Bulger's girlfriend, Catherine Greig. A tipster reportedly saw the spot, recognized Greig, and alerted the police. The 30-second PSA had begun airing in 14 U.S. cities, on shows like Ellen, The View, and Live With Regis & Kelly, urging people to be on the lookout for Greig, who was devoted to her appearance and was assumed to be visiting beauty salons regularly.
