A Dentist Commercial You Can Sink Your Teeth Into
Twilight-inspired vampire parodies are getting a bit long in the tooth, but this new (borderline NSFW) spot from the U.K. is pretty great. Somewhat bizarrely, it was produced by the Portsmouth branch of the government's National Health Service, and urges people to get their excessively long and pointy, blood-thirsty teeth cleaned by a local dentist. The couple are wonderfully trashy, unlike the vamps in American parodies (e.g., the Bing commercial), who are always a little too cool for school. According to the BBC, the Portsmouth area "has traditionally had poor levels of dental health." Yeah, like that distinguishes it from the rest of England.
