Man, is Ray Richmond pissed. In his review for Hollywood Reporter (an AdFreak relative, BTW), picked up here by Reuters, he tore Fox’s The Princes of Malibu a new one. Specifically, he thinks the “wholly contrived” show does nothing but capture songwriter David Foster’s “ineffectual and profoundly oblivious parenting style,” as well as the bloated indulgence of his two stepsons. Richmond also question Foster’s logic of expecting irresponsible kids to change their tunes overnight, and I agree.
