A few weeks back, we reported on the state of Washington’s dubious new tourism slogan, "SayWA." Well, the piling on continues, including a thumbs-down for the new slogan from James Vesely, a columnist for the Seattle Times, who says it sounds like the name of a vegetable oil. As a nontraditional approach to tourism monikers, he continues, "SayWA is an unqualified success. ‘I’m going to Disneyland’ was a sure miss—and so was ‘It’s better in the Bahamas.’
