Col. Sanders makeovers that fell just short
Over at Where’s My Jetpack?, they believe KFC didn’t go far enough in giving Col. Sanders a new look: “We decided to ‘hip up’ the Colonel,” they write. “We went with emo glasses, some hair dye and trimmed up that goatee into a soul patch. Also, the chin needed some chiseling and the face certainly benefited from minor liposuction.” Compare this effort to the approved version here. Hard to say whether this is an improvement. On the one hand, he doesn’t look much like a colonel. On the other hand, they could use this to finally open that elusive Williamsburg franchise.
