Hackers recently found a way to exploit the discomforting weirdness of the Michael Jackson trial. Internet News reports that they “are slamming computers around the world with a Trojan virus by sending e-mails claiming Michael Jackson has tried to kill himself.” These e-mails, which mask the hackers’ programming acumen with hilarious spelling errors, link to a bogus suicide note. The link opens to a page that says it can’t load due to high traffic (admittedly, a clever move), at which point a Trojan program called Troj/Borobt-Gen dumps tons of viruses into the user’s computer.
