America’s best-dressed men, circa ’73

Socks_1They don’t make ’em like this anymore, which is a real shame. Flickr user Stewf found this ad for fancy socks called Interwoven in a 1970s issue of Playboy. (Click for a larger, even more unfortunate version.) Imagine how fun/sticky the photo shoot for this one must have been. These days, the closest we get to this kind of group male nudity in advertising is in ads for fishing bait.
