Airbrush as magic wand in ‘Potter’ posters
Anyone creeped out by PosterWire’s investigation of Hermione’s breast size from one Harry Potter poster to the next should try reading some of the fan fiction. That stuff will keep you up nights. Sure, someone seems to have mucked around with the IMAX version of the Order of the Phoenix poster. But it’s hardly the first instance of digital augmentation. The best-known case might be Keira Knightley, who was enhanced to promote King Arthur. Granted, Emma Watson is 17, so overtly sexualizing her makes some people a little nervous, and rightfully so. We’ll leave that to Dan Radcliffe, as portrayed in Ricky Gervais’s Extras.
