1980s toys that threatened our existence

Pogoball This list of 1980s toys that should have killed us reminds me that, yes, there was a time when you could market something called Sit ’N Spin to children. Including Big Wheels on the list was a stretch, since you had to find yourself in pretty irresponsible circumstances to hurt yourself on one of those. But the Pogo Ball (shown here) should have been packaged with a tube of Neosporin. And don’t forget the damage this ball-and-chain did to our nation’s ankles.
