Meet Evan Greene: The Man Behind the Grammys

I had the great pleasure of chatting with Evan Greene, CMO of The Recording Academy, who oversees marketing and brand strategy for one of today’s most relevant music organizations, the Recording Academy, and Music’s Biggest Brand – the GRAMMYs. Many of you know the GRAMMYs as a once-per-year event, but the Recording Academy is vital to the industry year-round, from advocacy on Capitol Hill in support of the rights of music creators and the protection of intellectual property, to serving a membership of fifteen-thousand music creators, to managing a charitable foundation that creates a safety net for music people in need. The GRAMMYs, while the biggest brand in music, and the Academy’s most visible connection to music fans around the world, is, surprisingly, just one of the many amazing components of this multi-faceted, iconic music organization.
