Fashion Brands Dominate Instagram Video Top 10 include Vogue, Michael Kors, Aéropostale

Apparel marketers should probably keep their eye on Instagram video. Five out of the top 10 brands in this week's VideoWatch/Shareablee power rankings include players that focus on fashion.

Vogue makes its first appearance in the weekly poll, offering a 15-second peek into designer Charles James' exhibit at the Met Museum in New York City. The fast-paced clip captured the imaginations of the magazine's 1.8 million Instagram followers, garnering more than 22,000 brand engagements.

Victoria's Secret, which has been a mainstay in our rankings, Michael Kors, Billabong and Aéropostale are other fashion brands that performed impressively last week with the social videos platform. (Check out their work below in our multimedia infographic, which allows viewers to watch last week’s top videos while seeing what kind of organic reach the brands created.)

And last week, the National Basketball Association claimed the No. 1 spot with a fashion post of its own.

The NBA, in the middle of an exciting playoff run, tops the chart again this week with the nail-biting highlight of Brooklyn warding off Toronto at the buzzer in Game 7.
