You Need to Leave the U.S. to Get Some of the Latest Phones & Tablets

If you want the latest in mobile devices, the message we’ve been seeing based on a number of recent launches is: Don’t live in the United States.

Microsoft, for example, launched its first wave of Windows Phone 7 devices in Europe last Fall. Earlier, Dell released its first Android phone in China, its first quasi-tablet Dell Streak 5 in the U.K., and, most recently, its first 10-inch tablet in China.
