Yahoo updates Screen app with live video, AirPlay implementation

Yahoo launched its Screen app in early September, introducing a free outlet for TV and video streaming on iOS devices. Now, the app has been updated with three major new features, including support for live video.

The live video update will see a red “Live” icon appear within the app if a particular video is currently broadcasting. One such event will take place on October 22, when Yahoo Music will be exclusively streaming the Katy Perry ‘iHeart Radio’ album release party.
