Mobile and social game developer Vostu has revealed plans to bring it mobile title Top Farm to Facebook. The game sees players leaving the hustle and bustle of the busy city in exchange for a quiet life on the farm. Users will grow their farm by growing crops, feeding animals and building machines to create new materials.
In Top Farm, players start with a few simple growing plots, and expand their farm with Windmills, animal feed production facilities and more. Users are limited to a small number of individual farm plots at first, but this number grows as players continue to play.
Players have access to chickens, cows, sheep, goats and more, and are also limited to owning just a few of each animal until they unlock more room on their farm at various experience point levels.
Crops and animals take time to grow / mature, and buildings take time to construct / operate. This limits the length of a single (free) gameplay session, and also introduces ample in-app purchase opportunities. User can spend premium currency to speed up these actions, with additional currency available for real money.
Elsewhere, both taxies and trucks will arrive from different “towns,” asking to purchase items the player may have created. These offer chances to win experience points and other resources in bulk.
Top Farm is available in eight different languages, and offers cross-platform support for players to access their saved farms on any device they choose.
