Viralheat, which allows users to better manage their Facebook pages, announced Tuesday that it has added two new features: Social Login and Viralheat Explore. Through Social Login, users don’t have to set up dedicated accounts with Viralheat, instead accessing the features by logging in through Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn. Viralheat Explore allows users to easily search Twitter and Facebook for keyword mentions in real-time.
Viralheat wanted to make it easier for users to sign up for its service. By initiating a one-click login through Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn (users can also sign in through Google Plus in a paid version), this cuts down on the friction.
Through Viralheat Explore, page managers can easily search for mentions of their brands or keywords and engage in real-time. While Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Twitter are part of the free service, searching Google Plus is available in the paid version.
Vishal Sankhla, Viralheat co-founder, commented on his company’s newest offerings:
With our new Explore feature, users now have the ability to search in real-time various social media platforms for any keywords, helping them to understand what is being said on these social networks about their company, products, or even competitors. Companies can definitely use this valuable data to their advantage.
