Verizon Runs App Development Contest
Verizon Wireless has introduced a new contest for mobile app developers. The “Verizon Developer Community Power Your App” encourages developers to enter their most innovative Android or RIM apps.
Members of the Verizon Developer Community will choose the category winners and the Verizon Developer Community People’s Choice winner, the app that receives the most votes among the category winners. Verizon Wireless will choose the Grand Prize winner who will win $50,000 and 200 percent of the application’s revenue for a year.
