This update allows players to build four casino buildings in their town: Burns’ Casino, Gaming Moe’s, Cletus’s Dice Den and Homer’s House of Cards. To begin, players will only have access to Burns’ Casino, but the other three buildings will unlock as players progress through the update’s content.
Once players construct Burns’ Casino, they can send specific characters to complete jobs at the building to earn Chips and Casino Tokens. As players collect Chips in bulk, they’ll earn prizes including the Burns’ Fountain decoration, the Impulse Wedding Chapel and Britannia Casino buildings and more.
Players can earn additional Chips by tapping on the Gamblers walking around their town, and by tapping on Gamblers in their friends’ towns.
Meanwhile, Casino Tokens can be used to play new casino games, like the slot machine in the Gaming Moe’s building. In this game, players spend one Casino Token per spin, and will win Chips if they receive at least two matching symbols on the machine’s three reels.
When they don’t win, gamers may have the opportunity to cheat by tapping on the machine for a free spin. Players also have a chance to receive new crafting resources on each spin.
As players participate in this casino event, they will earn Player Club points, which allow them to earn a separate set of prizes, like free Chips, Casino Tokens and event-specific crafting resources. Gamers can also win a new upgradeable monument for their town.
In addition to the event’s prizes, gamers can purchase casino-themed items in the game’s store. For instance, a White Spotlight is available for cash, while items like the Welcome to Springfield Sign and La Belle Frottage building are available for Donuts. Players can also purchase additional Casino Tokens with Donuts.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. This casino update includes three Acts, each with its own set of prizes. Act two begins on March 7.
