SocialTimes recently reported on Taco Bell’s Dorito-based taco operating system, or TacOS. As of our last writing, the company was serving up version 1.0, Nacho Cheese, and version 1.1, Cool Ranch.
But version 2.0 has been spotted in the wild. It’s a waffle-based TacOS.
The guys at Taco Bell sure do know how to ship chow! They have really disrupted the taco infrastructure, since the WaffleTaco features absolutely no legacy taco ingredients.
TacOS version 2.0 is a bent waffle with some sausage and eggs on it.
As reported in Gawker, “It’s a taco in the sense that a loose leaf binder full of papers is a taco. It’s a taco in the sense that your cupped palm holding a marble is a taco.”
Wait, a non-Tac TacOS? We consulted a food expert, Inside Network’s community manager Michele Pendergast.
“They just don’t give a fuhhhh-jita,” she said.
