Well, it’s never been more important to ensure that your social presence is above-board and fully accountable, as a new survey has revealed that some 20 percent of technology executives have rejected a candidate’s job application due to their social media profile.

The study also observed that LinkedIn was the social platform of choice amongst job applicants, with 74 percent using that channel, ahead of Twitter (67 percent) and Facebook (64 percent).
